Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
TheDiogen ("we," "us," "our") provides ad spend reconciliation and billing automation software for advertising agencies. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
Who this applies to
This policy covers agencies that create a TheDiogen account ("Agency Users") and the advertising platform data those agencies connect through our service. TheDiogen is a business tool used by agencies to manage their own client ad accounts — it is not directed at, and is not knowingly used by, individual consumers or minors.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, business email address, and basic company details you provide.
When you connect a Google Ads or Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad account through OAuth, the advertising platform grants us limited, permission-scoped access to that account's data. This includes campaign and ad-set identifiers and names, budget and spend figures, and account-level identifiers needed to match spend to the correct client. We do not request access to ad creative content, personal messages, or end-user personal data belonging to the advertiser's audience.
How we use this information
We use connected advertising data solely to calculate reconciliation reports for the agency that connected the account: comparing planned budget, platform-reported spend, and invoiced amounts, and flagging discrepancies. We do not use this data to serve ads, build audience profiles, or for any purpose unrelated to providing the reconciliation service to the connecting agency.
Data sharing
We do not sell advertising account data. We do not share it with third parties except: (a) infrastructure providers (hosting and database services) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, and (b) where required by law. We never share one agency's client data with another agency.
Data retention and security
OAuth access tokens are stored encrypted. Spend and reconciliation data is retained for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide historical reporting, unless you request earlier deletion. You can request full deletion of your account and connected data at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, and you may revoke TheDiogen's access to any connected ad account at any time directly from your Google or Meta account settings, or by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above.
